Plan your running load

Solar load estimator

Enter the rated watts, quantity and hours used per day. The kW estimate adds the rated load of appliances you plan to run together; changing daily hours does not change their rated power.

Saved wattages are approximate examples. Use each appliance’s actual electrical input rating; any appliance can be entered below.

Plan a solar setup around your home load

Your appliances and how you use them are a practical starting point for a solar enquiry. Add appliances, quantities, their entered wattage and daily usage in Home Load to prepare an estimate you can discuss with our team.

The result is a planning estimate based on your inputs. Use the actual appliance ratings where possible and confirm the proposed equipment and installation requirements before purchasing.

Enter a realistic appliance list

Include the equipment you expect to use and check the quantity for each item. Default appliance values are starting points, so replace them when you have a more accurate rating from your appliance label or documentation. Review daily hours and the items likely to run together rather than assuming every appliance operates all day.

Separate output from stored energy

An inverter’s output rating and a battery’s energy capacity describe different parts of a setup. The load estimate helps organize a discussion, but selecting equipment also requires checking voltage, phase, compatibility and the manufacturer’s specifications for the exact models. Starting requirements and changes in usage can affect the proposed configuration.

Choose the next step for your project

After reviewing the estimate, browse the inverter and battery categories or use Compare to inspect a shortlist. Where configured packages are available, review their included products and recorded details. A quotation request lets you share your requirements with our team for follow-up.

Confirm the details before ordering

Check the model-specific warranty, accessories and current availability on the product pages. Tell our team about existing equipment and any requirements that the form does not capture. Keep the estimate as a starting point for a conversation, and contact us when you need help refining the information you entered.
